JASMINE TING
Hi, I'm so glad that you're here. Recognizing that you need a bit of extra help is often the biggest hurdle. Your courage to seek the life that you deserve is the spark we'll use to grow your inner light together.
I work with women seeking to reach their authentic selves in their relationships with themselves, their children, their families, and the world. Offered guidance comes from my professional training as an internationally qualified and registered counselor, as well as breadth of personal experiences as a multicultural woman and mother who has navigated many life transitions herself.
In your journey, I offer a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space to explore and examine the things that are making you feel less than whole. Let's work on your healing and growth goals, and discover how change can bring greater light to your life.

Offered Counseling Services and Workshops
Individual Therapy
(Adults, Teens)
Our individual therapy sessions create a secure and private environment where clients can delve into their emotions and thoughts. Every feeling is acknowledged and respected here.
Employing a person-centered therapeutic approach, I attentively consider your personal preferences and integrate various effective techniques tailored to your unique situation. Our discussions will not only focus on strategies for managing emotional and physical stress, but also encourage a deeper introspection that leads to insights and possibilities. The goal is to empower you to navigate challenges with increasing confidence and clarity.
Sessions are typically 60 minutes and available in-person in Shanghai, or online for clients anywhere around the world.
Family Counseling
(Children and Parents)
Family counseling services focus on the relationship between parent and child, and aim to strengthen secure attachment bonds, self-esteem and self-identity, and positive effective parenting strategies to support harmonious connections between family members.
Therapy for children and adolescents is considered family therapy, as meaningful change in young people will should require simultaneous engagement of caregivers. A suggested series of counseling sessions may consist of a mix of individual play therapy for children, individual therapy with a parent, filial therapy (parent and child), and family therapy (family members).
Clients are welcome to ask me to collaborate with your child's school counselor and educational stakeholders to build a wider support system and include socioemotional interventions in academic environments.
Psychoeducation Workshops
I offer engaging and practical psychoeducational workshops designed to support businesses, communities, and schools in building healthier, more connected environments. These workshops create spaces for learning, reflection, and skill-building around key mental health and communication topics. Examples may include:
- Psychologically safe communication in the workplace, classroom, and personal relationships
- Mental health and wellness strategies for stress management, resilience, and emotional balance
- Healthy relationship skills to strengthen collaboration, connection, and trust
Workshops can be delivered in English or Chinese, in-person in Shanghai or online, and are tailored to the needs of your community.
